Cannabis Sativa vs. CBD
What is the difference between Cannabis Sativa and CBD?

Full Spectrum CBD oil is made from the flowers, leaves, and stalk of the hemp plant, rather than seeds. Unlike CBD isolate products or Hemp Seed Oil, Full Spectrum CBD includes a wide range of cannabinoids present throughout cannabis plants. Cannabinoid compounds have exclusive therapeutic anti-stress and relief benefits and, when combined, optimize the overall benefits from vitamins, minerals, and proteins.

Is CBD legal?

As of Dec. 20, 2018, CBD is federally legal, though it has been legal in most states for several years. The Farm Bill notably legalized the production and sales of industrial hemp and cannabidiol (CBD) derived from the hemp plant.

CBD from the cannabis plant is still classified as a regulated substance by the DEA. However, hemp is no longer to be associated with marijuana, and therefore hemp-based CBD isn’t a controlled substance.

Is CBD in all of your products?

No, CBD is only in the products marked CBD on the product label.

What does Cannabis Sativa do?

Hemp Seed Oil (Cannabis Sativa) is rich in antioxidants that fight free radical damage that can cause premature aging.  It contains beneficial fatty acids including key omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids which help hydrate and maintain skin barrier function. Hemp also contains amino acids known to help the skin generate collagen and elastin. Its anti-inflammatory properties soothe skin while helping to minimize uneven tone and texture, acne, and other imbalances and irritations.

  • Rich in Vitamins A, B, C, and E.
  • High Levels of Gamma-Linolenic Acid known to help maintain hormone health.
  • It is a lightweight oil that can penetrate the dermis to deliver nutrients that promote healthy skin turnover.
Why are CBD products more expensive than Cannabis Sativa products?

The method of extraction for CBD is more complex and costly and CBD contains a wider array of cannabinoids that have benefits beyond antioxidant and anti-inflammatory potency.
